The Guidelines for the care and welfare of Cephalopods in research have been published!

The “Guidelines for care and welfare of cephalopods in research” have been published as a Special Issue (supplement) of Laboratory Animals. These Guidelines are supported by the Association for Cephalopod Research – CephRes, the Federation for Laboratory Animal Science Associations – FELASA, and the COST Action FA1301 aimed to facilitate and support the cephalopod community in meeting the challenges resulting from the inclusion of cephalopod molluscs, the sole among invertebrates, in Directive 2010/63/EU.
